The traffic was bad and our guide, Bor, picked us up at 2:30pm. The office did message us to say traffic was bad and pick up would be at 2:10pm. Bor provided a great history lesson on Slovenia as we drove to the castle. The castle and caves were brilliant and we are certainly glad we did the tour but it felt very rushed due to 30 minute difference between stated pick up time and actual pick up time.”

“He was very kind, informative, and attentive, which made getting around to visit Split much easier. As for Split itself, I found it a bit discouraging that so many extras require additional payment. For example, to enjoy a nice view, you have to pay for the castle, and we had about an hour there, which felt a bit too long for me. You also have to pay for the boat to Bled Island, for entry to the church on the island, and even for swimming in the lake, so it’s worth planning for those costs. That said, the place is still absolutely beautiful.”
