For example, to enjoy a nice view, you have to pay for the castle, and we had about an hour there, which felt a bit too long for me. You also have to pay for the boat to Bled Island, for entry to the church on the island, and even for swimming in the lake, so it’s worth planning for those costs. That said, the place is still absolutely beautiful.”
